The Latest "not so good" news...

CCAA has updated their site again and referrals in fact only covered May 26-30th...which is disappointing. Not sure what's going on but here's an excerpt from an email we received from our faciliator...

I am disappointed to report to you that the China Center of Adoption Affairs has recently released referrals for families whose files were registered with their office between May 26 and May 30, 2005. Therefore, referrals of children coming out of the China Center of Adoption Affairs are continuing to slow down. It is difficult to predict right now how long referrals will take in the future. CCAA is being very tight-lipped about how slow the process may get, but there are indications that we can expect the process to continue to slow down for a period of time.

When I have any definite information about future timeframes of referrals, I will be in touch.

Regards
Linda

I know this must seem like it is taking forever but Aislin is already here in our hearts and she will be more than worth the wait! I will cross my fingers and pray that things hurry up, I want to meet my sister!

Hi Tara and John, I couldn't be more excited for the two of you and your families. I remember when I was pregnant with Connor, how excited and anxious I was, knowing that we were going to have a wonderful addition to our family, so I can only imagine how excited and anxious you are. My thoughts are with you and your daughter daily and I knew that only you, Tara could come up with such a beautiful and orginal name. The love and warmth for the beauty around you will be a most comforting blanket for Aislin. I love you both and can't wait to celebrate your daughter with you. Love Joy
