HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

ROAR!!!
What a fun day this was! Kids just make everything more fun don't they! We started off by going to the mall for a trick or treat event they had for little ones this morning! You went to each store with your trick or treat bag! Aislin was wide eyed at all the kids in their costumes! Then came the night time event! We dressed up again and went to a few houses in our neighborhood! I honestly don't know who had more fun Aislin or myself! John stayed home and passed out candy while Aislin and I went galivanting!

The night before we carved our pumpkins! Aislin surprised me (as she usually does!) and got really into it! She was digging and scooping like an old pro! She didn't totally like the feeling of the pumpkin "guts" as you can tell from one picture but she held her own!

Happy Halloween!!

Visits!

I have to ask myself regularly where the days go! How can things be so busy! But life is great and I love every second of it! We were at our reunion with the families we travelled to China with at the end of September. It was so much fun! It was great to see the girls and how they have grown! We hope to get together in January again to celebrate "Gotcha Day", the day we received our daughters in China. Aislin had so much fun with all her friends. She was quite sociable but really enjoyed the wide open spaces at the park and took every opportunity to run!

We tried getting the girls together for a photo but you know children! So some are in some photos and others are in other photos! I guess we'll have to photoshop them all in the same one!

Then we had my grandmother and Mom here for two weeks, which was so great. We had a ton of laughs! John and I also took the opportunity to go out for dinner alone while they were here! Our first date in 9 months!!! We also had a huge Thanksgiving dinner with more family (13 all together!) and Mom's birthday during this time! Aislin thrived on all the attention and put on her best shows! She's got all these funny faces she likes to make and is pretty entertaining! She now calls our dog Caper- "paper"! She's doing really well at her tots program, when I go to pick her up she is always sitting at the snack table eating well after the other children have gone back to playing! She's done painting as well, which she wore quite nicely! She really seems to love it and we've really noticed big changes in her devolpment and social skills. When we get in the car to come home she jabbers on and on as though she's telling me all about her morning! She's also taken a growth spurt and has grown 3 cm in a month and a half! Don't get me wrong she is still a peanut wearing mostly 12 months and some smaller made 18 months but she is definately growing! She's also bumped up two shoes sizes in that short time as well! Well we can't complain, we got alot of use out of her clothes!
