Tara and John, just wanted to say have a safe flight and remember all our love and prayers go with you.Hurry home with that adorable little girl..When Aislin feels your arms around her she will know you are her "Mommy".It is only normal to be nervous and it will take a little while for all of you to ajust to each other but you will because Love will get you through anything. God speed and the best of luck.Hoping someday I get to meet you all when I am passing through Amherst. Love Linda Freeman[ Tara's Aunt}

I've been thinking of you all day and sending best wishes. I can only imagine your excitement, your nervousness, etc. But you've clearly been well prepared and you have a great support system to help you. Children have an amazing knack of keeping you on your toes. No matter when a child joins your family, you will never know what every cry and every fuss means. (My oldest cries and after 7 years I still don't know why!) When in doubt, ask Emma. She'll probably know!

You're exactly right that you'll work through any hiccups together - as a family. Before long you'll forget that there ever was any other way.

God speed and good wishes . . .

Emma learned a new song in Sparks and at dinner today she out of the blue changed the lyrics. I thought you might get a chuckle! The name of the song is "Bring Back my Bonnie" but this is what Emma sang:

My Aislin lies over the ocean. My Aislin lies over the sea. My Aislin lies over the ocean. Oh bring back my Aislin to me.

Bring back, bring back, bring back my Aislin to me, to me. Bring back, bring back oh bring back my Aislin to me.

I wonder what she has been thinking about????
