Well if Aislin didn't know who Santa was before she sure does now!
We had the greatest Christmas, seeing it through a child's eyes..something that hasn't happened around here in a long time! We travelled to Cape Breton and stayed up really late on Christmas Eve, Aislin was up until midnight...the Christmas carolling got her so excited and all the commotion she was wide eyed!!
Aislin, John and I opened stockings first in bed...my favorite part! Aislin seemed to really like it too, she got a ball in her stocking and said "WOW...WOW...BALL...BALL...WOW!"
Then out to the living room to look at what Santa brought..she didn't get as overwhelmed as I thought she might. But once the first present of hers was opened we lost her...she didn't care about anything else! So once she was ready to move on, we continued to open her presents! She got some really wonderful gifts from her brother and sister and Grammy and Grampy...she was spoiled of course, but not too much (meaning it all fit in the truck for the long treck back to Amherst!). We sat down for breakfast to Lobster eggs benedict, one of my favorite traditions! Then back to the toys! It was such an amazing Christmas, the best one I've ever had. I love my life!

Sounds like a wonderful holiday all around! I was just thinking that this time last year you had a photo of a little girl miles away and this year was a whilwind of smiles and pigtails. (And I love her Christmas dress!) Thank heaven for little girls!! Happy 2008.
